Disclosure and Barring Service

Fitness To Work

Work health assessments are to help prevent work-related illnesses, injuries and the spread of disease or infection. They refer to a variety of processes undertaken by Public Sector workers screen staff to assess whether they are capable and fit to undertake a role.

Referencing & Work History

Public Sector organisations have a duty of care to both staff and users to ensure that all reasonable checks are undertaken for any given role. Work history and reference checks allow providers to verify information already provided by an individual as part of their application. We chase the referees if needed and provide Academic References.

Right to Work

Public Sector organisations, as standard, should ensure that their candidates have the legal right to work in this country. This check is included as part of the DBS check process.
