This is the first in a new series of articles we'll be publishing every time we make a major release for the Talent Clouds technology which powers the ECC Compliance service.
Last night we released a few big things, made a few small tweaks and squashed a few bugs. Here's the list in full:
Professional Registration Checks: We actually released this last week but they're technically new since this is our first post. So you will now find a new check is available for any role you select called Professional Registration Check. This will allow you to check on the registration of your candidates against the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Social Work England (SWE) Registers.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You can now also request a check agains the Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) register provided by DfE. In addition to standard QTS Checks we can also check against the List 128, EEA Sanctions and Prohibition List.
Occupational Health: For any roles where an occupational health assessment is required you can now request one via the system. ECC provide the occupational health assessment and the result will be displayed and stored against the candidate alongside the results of any other checks you've requested, e.g. DBS.
DBS Fast Track for COVID-19 Key Workers: We've been keeping the product up to date with the most recent changes from the government around DBS process changes including supporting fully remote documentation checks and enabling hirers to select roles as 'COVID-19' so they're fast tracked and don't attract DBS fees. You can read more on this on our COVID-19 page.
Overseas Criminal Record Check: We've added functionality to the DBS Check so if a Candidate has lived abroad for more than 12 months in the last 10 years since they were 18 they can be directed to the right place to request report from a foreign police force and upload that into the system.
Compliance Summary download: You can now download a summary per candidate which gives you the results of all their checks in one place. Great if you need to store a report in an HR system or for audit purposes.
Email copy updates: We've tweaked some of the copy in our system generated emails to make them easier to read.
