Work health assessments are to help prevent work-related illnesses, injuries and the spread of disease or infection. They refer to a variety of processes undertaken by schools to health screen staff to assess whether they are capable and fit to undertake a role.
REFERENCING AND WORK HISTORY
Providers have a duty of care to both staff and patients to ensure that all reasonable checks are undertaken for any given role. Work history and reference checks allow providers to verify information already provided by an individual as part of their application.
Right to Work
